FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
TIRGEARR PUBLISHING ANNOUNCES LAUNCH AS IRELAND’S ONLY DIGITAL FICTION PUBLISHER
Kildare, Ireland – 19 February 2012 – Tirgearr Publishing, www.tirgearrpublishing.com, announces that on 29 February, Leap Day, they will take a leap of their own into the worldwide publishing market as Ireland’s only publisher dedicated to digital publishing.
With nearly 20 years in the book business, Tirgearr Publishing dispenses with literary agents, gives authors a say when it comes to having their books produced, and pays fair market royalties.
While based in Ireland, Tirgearr Publishing works closely with authors worldwide, offering traditional full-circle services in a digital market: Editors work with authors on a one-on-one basis to ensure each book presented is of the highest quality; Graphic artists work with authors to ensure covers are attractive and reflect story content; the IT team prepares and formats each book for all digital book readers then loads to relevant sites, as well as Tirgearr Publishing’s own site; and the publisher works side-by-side with authors to develop effective marketing plans and promotional programs, advising on career choices and forward career planning, and assist in setting up the author's overall image.
Tirgearr Publishing encourages authors to do as much self-promotion as possible but will also work side-by-side with each author to guide them through all phases of book promotion. This includes advising and assisting authors in setting up social networking sites, design effective and attractive websites, and join other groups and reader circles in order to develop a readership.
Additionally, Tirgearr Publishing uses the latest technology to promote their authors worldwide, including maintaining several social media sites: Facebook, Twitter, Blogger, Tumblr, GoodReads, YouTube, LinkedIn, StumbleUpon, and RSS feed. Each new book released is advertised on these media sites, and the publisher encourages authors to use these sites as part of their own marketing efforts.
With the rapidly growing interest in digital books, fueled by the popularity of affordable reading devices such as Kindle, iPad, and others, and coupled with affordable pricing of popular fiction, Tirgearr Publishing hits the ground running with a handful of established authors.
Just since January, the publishing house has released five titles:
21 January: Tutti-Frutti Blues, Dude Looks Like A Lady, and the 2-in-1 volume The Carmel Charmers Series, by award-winning romance author, Kemberlee Shortland;
5 February: The Trouble With French Kisses, book one in The Trouble Series, by award-winning romance author, Kristi Ahlers;
12 February: Man City by award-winning erotica author, C. Margery Kempe;
Coming in May: The Secret of Narava, sequel to The Promise of Kierna’Rhoan, by award-winning author, Isabo Kelly; also book two in the Irish Pride series by Kemberlee Shortland, Rhythm of My Heart;
Coming in June: Beguiler, book two in the ABCs of S-E-X: Love by the Letter series, by award-winning author, Scarlett Valentine.
